  We use many apps on our gadgets. Some are good and useful, while others are bad and unnecessary. Now, imagine your life as a gadget. There are certain "apps" that should never be installed in our lives. If they are already there, we must uninstall them immediately. Having this app in your life will keep you from walking in the freedom and righteousness of Christ. Installing the Divine Default Apps: Lesson from the Life Events of Elisha

  Prophet Elisha used certain apps to do ministry effectively during a time of ongoing spiritual compromise, political unrest, and social instability. Before looking into those apps, first of all we need to see the character of Elisha. If we do not have character then we will not be compatible for God to work in our lives. Elisha was ¾     Faithful   ( 1 Kings 19:21 – “Then he arose and followed Elijah and became his servant”). He was deeply committed to Elijah and to the calling of God. He left everything behind—family, possessions, and profession—to follow God’s will. We have to be faithful to serve God. We need to serve Him wholeheartedly. ¾     Spiritually Desirous ( 2 Kings 2:9 – “Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me”).
